Tours and Tickets

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Beginning Thursday, March 12th at 4:30 pm, all tours of the U.S. Capitol are canceled.

For the most up-to-date information, please visit the links below for more information on any tours that you are interested in. We apologize for any inconvenience.

All tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors to Washington, DC, it is important to request tickets as early as possible. The highest demand is for White House tours, especially in the Spring. Consequently, requests for White House tours should ideally be submitted five months in advance but no later than 21 days before your requested tour date. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit the Washington, DC Tourism Information page.
