. . . . Delegation Secures Key Change In Treasury’s Process To Distribute COVID Relief Funds To Vermont’s Local Communities
WASHINGTON (FRIDAY, July 30, 2021) – Vermont’s Congressional Delegation, Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Bernie Sanders and Congressman Peter Welch, announced Friday that the U.S. Treasury Department will release funding secured through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) designated for communities in Vermont’s 14 counties.
WASHINGTON – Thursday the House passed nine out of 12 of the annual Appropriations bills to fund the government that included Rep. Peter Welch’s legislative priorities and funding for nine community projects. The appropriations bills include increased funding for affordable housing, public health infrastructure, education, and green energy projects, among other Welch priorities.
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representatives Suzan DelBene (WA-01), Jeff Duncan (SC-03), and Peter Welch (VT-At-Large) reintroduced the Seniors’ Chronic Care Management Improvement Act (H.R. 4755), bipartisan legislation that will facilitate better chronic care management (CCM) for Medicare beneficiaries.
